U.S. History 2:
Modern History of America from 1800 - 2025

While covering the essential political, economic, and social developments of this period – including westward expansion, the Civil War, industrialization, the World Wars, the Cold War, and the modern era – the course particularly emphasizes the diverse threads that make up the fabric of the nation. It integrates the histories and perspectives of African Americans, Latin Americans, and Indigenous peoples, exploring their roles, struggles, and contributions throughout key periods like Manifest Destiny, slavery and abolition, Reconstruction, various waves of immigration, the Civil Rights era, and contemporary issues.
