My name is Krisette, and I am the founder of The BlackOut Homeschool Connect App and Mosaic Hybrid Homeschool Co-operative. Thank you for stopping by to learn more about us.
The 'BlackOut' is a powerful metaphor - a deliberate act of redaction.
Our aim is to systematically 'black out' or remove the damaging stereotypes and tropes that undermine the self-image of minority children in the homeschool and alternative education space.
In place of these stereotypes, we create a beautiful Mosaic, providing a curriculum and intentionally inclusive learning environment that shines a light on their God-given value, diverse experiences, and boundless potential, creating a space where every student feels seen, heard, and valued.
