We Are Mosaic

#Intentional | #Inclusive | #Equitable | #Empowered |  #Culturally Responsible

Mosaic is a Hybrid Homeschool Academy rooted in family, faith, and freedom with intentional, value-centered inclusion as a core principle, never to be compromised. We see and celebrate you on purpose understanding that everyone is valuable to God.We embrace your child's unique identity with joy, sourcing curriculum, literature, and resources that intentionally center, uplift, and celebrate diverse voices. Our goal is to eradicate "otherness" and ensure that every child sees their reflection in the pages and faces of their education. Our courses empower students to thrive academically and embrace their individuality. From images and references to book selections and research, our resources ensure that every student feels seen and represented throughout their learning journey. We honor the heritage of all our students and aspire for our enrollment to be a true reflection of the local community.

Learning at Mosaic: Our Hybrid Model

We Flip the Classroom

We view education as a vital partnership between school and home. Our flipped classroom approach facilitates this collaboration: students engage with direct instruction at home using Mosaic's curated online curriculum (included in tuition), giving parents a valuable opportunity to support initial learning. This strategy frees up our in-person class time for dynamic active learning, peer collaboration, and deeper critical thinking guided by our instructors.

We Promote Active Learning

At Mosaic, learning is active, not passive. Students work in cohorts to build a strong sense of community and foster a high level of peer support. We replace rushed learning with a deeper, more meaningful comprehension. Students demonstrate understanding through critical thinking, problem-solving, discussion, writing, and collaboration, connecting knowledge to real-world scenarios. This empowers them to take charge of their education.

We Connect Learning & Life

Guided by W.E.B. Du Bois's vision that education should prepare students for life, we empower them through learning that ignites curiosity, creativity, and leadership. At Mosaic, students connect knowledge to their own experiences, enabling them to confidently design their futures and contribute meaningfully to a more equitable world.
